In Job Ch.1:12 we see that in the trial even before it happens God sets up the boundaries. We should also see that if God allowed it and even caused it to happen. He points out to the devil look at my servant Job. So God is allowing Job to go through this for a reason. Some think that it is unfair when they go through this kind of trial. They think they are under the hand of a God who doesn't love them, if they don't have the answers. God is going to teach his beloved son Job a way to further growth. If you read about Elihu, he tells Job God is trying to teach you something. Sometimes we are stripped of all support, so we will blame God for what we are going through. Job was tempted to say God doesn't love him. It is when God sends wisdom and revelation of himself, like rivers of living waters that we say ( shut my mouth.) We are blessed when we have the Holy Spirit who comforts us and pours his love in and through us. When we come to the end of self God is waiting there for us. God saw that in ch.42: God 's abundant grace was there in a double portion. notice he didn't do anything to deserve the big blessings. It is because God loves him that he received what he was thinking he wouldn't get In Jesus we are his child and are put in position by faith to receive because God loved us enough to send his son to the cross. He surely loves us to teach us more about his grace. look at the latter end.
