I agee with Deep Thinker on this that Christ not only died for the sins of all men, but all men died with Christ in His death. Now only those that are in Christ will come into the good of the finished work of Christ.

"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead" (2Corinthians 5:14)

The reason why that is is because Christ is not dying each time a man repents. He died once for all.

Deep, I've never really looked at it like that before, that Christ doesn't actually die each time someone repents...if that is the case, then boy that is good news...Is it really true that I can say that 2000 years ago Christ died for me included? Or can I only realize that fact after I believe and repent? I guess I've always heard that it's not good to tell someone that Christ died for them until after they place their faith in Him...but the Bible does indeed say "takes away the sin of the world."
