 'LET US' - 'LEST'

'LET US' – 'LEST'

Lest we drift away, we must therefore give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard. Heb 2:1
Lest there be, brethren in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God, exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Heb 3:12-13
Let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of the promise of entering His rest. Heb 4:1
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, Heb 4:11
Lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. Heb 4:11
Let us hold fast our confession. Heb 4:14
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4:16
Let us go on to perfection, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, Heb 6:1
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Heb 10:22
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, Heb 10:23
Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, Heb:10:24
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, Heb 12:1a

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Heb 12:1b
Lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls, consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, Heb 12:3
Lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; Heb 12:15
Lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled Heb 12:15
Lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. Heb 12:16
Let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. Heb 12:28
Let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. Heb 13:13
Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, Heb 13:15

I pulled this together after listening to a Richard Owen Roberts sermon a few weeks ago, where he mentioned in passing the 'Lests' of Hebrews. I thought it might bless / encourage / challenge someone.
