US Warships Head for South China Sea

As tension rose over a US-China sea dispute, President Barack Obama met China's top diplomat yesterday to stress the need for more frequent and intense communications to avoid military confrontations that could upset a relationship crucial to solving global crises.

On March 9, 2009 Chinese Ships Harassed Unarmed Navy Craft in International Waters
WASHINGTON -- Chinese ships surrounded and harassed a Navy mapping ship in international waters off China, at one point coming within 25 feet of the American boat and strewing debris in its path, the Defense Department said Monday. The Obama administration said it would continue naval operations in the South China Sea, most of which China considers its territory, and protested to China about what it called reckless behavior that endangered lives.

Russia continues air surveillance over Sea of Japan
VLADIVOSTOK, March 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Pacific Fleet aircraft have been conducting scheduled patrol exercises this week over the Sea of Japan, where U.S. Navy ships have been holding exercises, the Pacific Fleet said on Friday.

Maritime patrol Il-38 May planes from the Pacific Fleet have been making routine flights over the sea, but have not flown close to the U.S. vessels, the Fleet's headquarters said.

CNN earlier reported that on Monday and Tuesday, several Russian Il-38 aircraft flew over the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier, at an altitude of just 150 meters (492 feet). The news network said that on Tuesday, two Il-38s flew within 600 meters of the USS Blue Ridge.

"The Pacific Fleet pilots have been conducting exercises to ensure the security of Russia's border near the Sea of Japan, where U.S. Navy vessels are located," the spokesman said. "The aircraft have remained at a safe distance from the U.S. vessels, adhering strictly to international laws."

Re: US Warships Head for South China Sea

I believe that China will definately pose a danger of some kind to the West in the reasonably near future, perhaps the next few decades(if the Lord tarries) The warming relationship between Russia and China is a troubling development. They conducted joint military exercises a few years ago, albeit small ones. China spends a lot of money on its military, especially its navy. In the history of the world, there has never been a case of a great military power arising where they did not "flex their muscles." At some point China will take Taiwan and we in the West will say nothing. We will condemn it, but we will do nothing. Why would that be important? It will just signal to China that we are weak and that our need for them is greater than our fortitude to stand against them. This kind of weakness always leads to greater challenges. So, will Taiwan be America's "Rhineland?" No, but it will be one more sign that America'a power and influence is waning and has peaked. Remember, one of the primary goals of Hitler in retaking the Rhineland was one of distraction. The German economy was in a dire state. Britain had already declared their intention of allowing Germany to Re-militarize the Rhineland in 1937.

The argument up until now has been that the economics overide any military desires that both Russia and China may have. With the collapse of oil prices and the slowing of the World economy, we are moving into new territory. These are the conditions that have historically led to military actions between nations. Tomorrow? No. The next decade? Very possibly..............Frank

Re: US Warships Head for South China Sea

You have to shake your head about all this. The U.S. demands so much from China, and yet China is the biggest lender to the U.S. It's like you going to your bank and demanding they stop charging interest.

The United States has taken a huge risk in obtaining almost a trillion dollars from China, and china has recently issued to the U.S. to be frugal in it's spending policies. But this will all probably back fire on them and China will lose big time, they will retaliate and who knows, we may have one big China Town south of the border.

 Re:

It is not going to be very long now, that the self rule and self determination of man shall be overthrown by the beast and the false prophet.

The time known as the Great Tribulation is close at hand, it is even at the gate...

This time is coming into focus now: World economies are beginning to collapse; there has been strange weather phenomenon showing up globally; massive record breaking hurricanes; there has been a substantial and devastating increase in earthquakes around the world; Tsunamis killing hundreds of thousands, wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom...the beginning of the fall of MBG(Mystery Babylon the Great.)

MBG is not a city, not is it the Roman Catholic Church...

I do not consider the "physical cities" like NY or London as being Mystery Babylon the Great...no more then I would consider a Church building as being the elect Lady. Physical cities of brick and mortar will fall, which is not MBG. Mystery Babylon the Great the mother of harlots is people. Let me explain...all of humanity can be represented as two bodies of people as represented in the following paragraph.

There are two women (two bodies), one is the Lamb's Bride, and the other is the Harlot.

One is the body of elect body of believers through out all time, the other is the body of lost humanity since Adam. One is by faith, the other is of unbelief.

To understand better, Sarah and Hagar are types of Bride and Harlot - one was of faith and belief, the other was of doubt and unbelief. From one would come our Lord and savior Jesus the Messiah, from the other would come the son of perdition, who exalts himself above God - the Antichrist. The Harlot shall not prevail over the Bride.

Rev 17:18 says -
And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.

Rev 16:19 says - Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

Mystert Babylon the Great is divided into 3 parts that God will destroy - "to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath."

1. Material Wealth - destroyed by economic collapse, famine and destruction of all infrastructure.

2. People - Destruction of the bodies and souls of men (Wars and Calamities)

3. Rule and Dominion - satan takes over of dominion of the Earth from MBG, just before the Lord returns to take it from him - click here to see: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2018:2;&version=50;

All of Revelation 18, describes Revelation 16:19 in detail.

What is coming is the destruction of Mystery Babylon the Great, (unbelieving, unrepented humanity - which has rule and dominion of the Earth. Babylon the Great will fall and never rise again. God will take back the dominion He gave man through Adam, and The Lord Jesus will come and set up His millennial kingdom in Jerusalem, Israel.

Therefore, God Himself will take up dominion on the Earth, and rule man with a rod of iron from Jerusalem in a restored national Israel. Man will never again self rule, or have dominion on the earth again forever and ever.
