Re: Resting in Jesus in Perilous Times - Wilkerson

A strengthening word of encouragement to every believer.
He sent this newsletter out in the mail this week.

(Last part) :

Daniel said of the Lord: “He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him” (Daniel 2:22). God knows all about the dark days ahead. And he knows that even this darkness cannot obscure his face from us.

Indeed, our clear path through hard times will be found only in trusting the Lord. He is calling us today to have a simple, childlike trust in his faithfulness.

 Re:

This is a very encouraging article. I just sat down and read our copy that we received in the mail and was very blessed by it.

Our Father does indeed know what we need, before we even ask. And He is just waiting for us to give up our worries, fears and cares and just trust in Him to care for us and provide for us, even in the midst of the most perilous times.

I like the way you said that. He is our shepherd. When we can become the sheep He intends us to be, we can rest in the fact that He cares for us. He protects us from harm. He goes ahead of us to find pasture for us. Our only job is to stay close to Him and listen for His voice. In that place, there is no worry.

John 10:3,4
The watchman opens the gate for Him, and the sheep listen to His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought out all His own, He goes on ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.
