Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say unto this sycamine tree (or mulberry tree), Be plucked up by the root, and be planted in the sea; and it would obey you.Question:If the word is actualy "in", why would anyone with faith tell a good fruit bearing tree which is good for wood to be thrown into the sea? This kind of tree is also frequently planted by the waysides for shade as people walk under them;If the word is actualy "in", why would anyone with faith tell this tree to be thrown into the sea?As peopel are likened to trees in the bible, The sycamine tree or mulberry tree is a good and not bad as the person told about in verses 1&2If one has any faith, they would tell someone to be planted where they may flourish BY the sea(water) as in Psalm 1:3.
why would anyone with faith tell this tree to be thrown into the sea?
