Hey y'all... could use some prayer. Been in and out of the ER the past month or so suffering from a kidney stone. According to the CT Scan a week ago I'm all clear now. However, this weekend while coaching a football game I apparently got a rupture in the connection between my achilles tendon and my calf muscle. It felt like someone shot me right in the back of the calf, and I hit the ground. The common name is "tennis leg". I cant hardly walk right now. There isnt much that can be done except exercise patience while it mends itself. I dont have any bruising or discoloration associated with a severe tear... which would require surgery. So praise God for that.Anyway... be in prayer for that. For all you football fanatics, you'd be proud of me! I suffered the injury early in the 1st quarter, and I never left the sidelines... even tho the other coaches and my wife begged me to! I said "I'm always telling my players to suck it up and stay in the game... and I'm gonna lead by example!" My wife said I was stupid tho, and she's probably right! lolKrispy
Praying brotherTo cheer you a bit, I tried to imagine you Krispy exercising patience with our patient Father coaching you, not leaving the sidelines. Can you see it? :-P He really does Love you.I've never joked with you. I hope you understand.Praying also for your wife.
Thanx... everyone is permitted to joke with me! Laughter is the best medicine, right?Krispy
