Can we weep? Can we howl?

Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Here it is, brothers and sisters, a detailed, point by point defense of “Christian” homosexual marriage:

He even states: "But if you're fortunate enough to know a Christ-centered gay couple, you'll notice something remarkably different. These relationships are actually bearing good fruit. The fruit of the Spirit are in abundance in such relationships - love, joy, peace, patience, and all the rest."

And, what’s worse, I found it on a website of a pastor of a mainline evangelical denomination (A denomination that I’ve loved and respected all my life for its rich heritage in all holy conversation and godliness).

. . . which not only supported such arguments, but listed a whole line-up of websites which support such arguments, including “Christian” transvestite websites.

How many times will the Levite of Judges 19 send out pieces of his concubine before the praying army of the Lord in this country will be moved to intense warfare on our knees to bring down such spiritual wickedness in high places?

Letters to congress won’t do anything. Letters to the denomination, or even the pastor would probably do very little.

Can we weep? Can we howl before God as Joel admonished?
