Moderator South Africa Trip (pictures and report)

Saints,

I just wanted to share with you some of the things God did during my trip to South Africa this last month. I traveled with the Canadian Revival Fellowship group http://www.revivalfellowship.com (who I am a lay-minister with).

I first went down to Kentucky for 1 week before hand to visit Steve Gallagher with Pure Life Ministries http://www.purelifeministries.org/ it is one the first and largest addition recovery groups. I was so blessed to see the men that have been changed and are fearing God. A great emphasis on the campus there is a utter sense of the Fear of God and also the Mercy of God.

We met for 3 days afterwards with ministry leaders from across north America: Randy Jones, David Ravenhill, Greg Gordon, Israel Wayne, Ben Davidson, Eric Ludy and Steve Gallagher. It was a powerful time of praying and sharing on the great need of revival and reformation for the Church in North America. There is a possibility from these meetings there will be a group formed to promote genuine revival. It was a great blessing to spend some time with David Ravenhill and the others.

I recommend the ministry of Eric Ludy and Ben Davidson, they are young and have a great zeal to see young people come and be disci-pled. They are living in Colorado. Their website and new book is: www.braveheartedgospel.com I learnt much being around them and surely there is a great need to organize groups for people who are being impacted by sermons such as at sermonindex.net

Once in South Africa I got to spend 1 and half weeks with "Multi-ministries" http://www.multiministries.co.za/ which is run by Harold Peesly. I heard this man preach and sermon and it was very powerful, I am looking into getting some sermons by himself onto sermonindex.net The group primarly focuses on getting the gospel out to the people of South Africa through many ways. I had over 10 churches I went to minister. The picture shows myself with brother Steve from the Canadian Revival Fellowship at a farm where we ministered in music and preaching.

I preached on Titus chapter 3 on the text: "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." I was able by the grace of God to share this passage showing men and women and children that their are wicked, foolish and sinful before a holy God, and there is a savior that saved them from this terrible condition. There was weeping and tears in some eyes. It seems that many in North America have been gospel hardened when last have you seen tears in the church under the preaching of the gospel.

For the next week I had the privildge of being picked up by 3 brothers from the country of Namnibia (Llywelyn, Jaco and Karl), they have planted a Charity Fellowship Church in the country of Namnibia http://www.hisekklesia.com/ We had some good times of fellowship. We got to meet a group of dear saints that use and are on sermonindex.net much. username (annelize) etc. It was such a blessing to meet with these saints and spend time with them. It is amazing that all the way across the world you can have the same fellowship with saints of God.

We had the privildge of visiting the kwasizabantu mission where there has been revival for the last 40 years. http://www.kwasizabantu.com It is a true genuine biblical revival in our generation and its amazing to still sense the afterglow of the revival that happened. Many amazing things are still happening including genuine castings out of demons and overcoming sin, etc. I was asked to speak at the Christians for Truth conference with over 1000 people present.

I got the chance to meet with Francois Carr who runs Heart Cry For Revival Conferences in South Africa and over 10 countries in the world. He is going to be a speaker at the Revival Conference in Atlanta: http://revivalconference.eventbrite.com/ We are praying about further working together to see HeartCry revival events in other countries of the world. John Macgregor from the Canadian revival fellowship is on the right of the picture above and it was a blessing to meet with him in south africa as he traveling partly with myself.

Another great accumulation is the formation of a Afrikaans speaking SermonIndex.net site: www.preekindeks.org the Lord clearly directed this and there is already over 10 gigs of sermons to be added to the site in this language, please do pray for Llweyn who is helping volunteer to add the sermons to the site and moderate it. There are 100 million Afrikaans speaking people in the world and this site could reach many with conservative holiness spirit filled messages!

Overall the trip was a blessing that I got to preach over 10 times, lead one women to christ, meet with 5 leaders of large Christian movements in south africa. And the formation of a new sermonindex "language" site. Glory to God in all things.

Re: Moderator South Africa Trip (pictures and report)

Brother, thanks for posting all this. This is all very wonderful news, you preaching Christ to the crowds, speaking before thousands of brothers, seeing the formation of a new SI site in Afrikaans. God is truly amazing, and I pray this is only a precursory explosion of what God will do in your midst.

 Re:

Amen, brother. Thank you for this post.
Would you, if time permits, explain some of the practical things you did to prepare for this missions trip?

I packed very light. ie one carry on bag for the plane. I spent much time in the word of God everyday as my daily substance. And just stayed prayerful for opportunities that would be God given. It wasn't fully a mission trip but a time to visit brethren and make contacts also. I have received so much from this trip and time, it is great to see God at work.

 Re:

Thank you. I ask because of an opportunity presented to my wife and I to go to Guatemala in January. Is it necessary to bring pamphlets or bibles etc...or get bilingual tracts printed?

It fully depends on those that are facilitating your stay. bringing your own bible and being a living epistle is the best method, anyone can just hand out pieces of paper. Not putting down bible distribution or handing out tracts which I do much.
