Notes From Last Conference Call prayer meeting (July 22nd)..

Saints,

Here are some notes I took down during last weeks prayer time, I believe God is speaking through these times to us on how to prepare our hearts for the revival conference events:

---

July 22nd, 2008
Speaker: Don Courville

Acts 17:28: “In Him, we live and move and have our being.”

DON’T MURMUR!

Disputing with the leading of God.

Rejoicing in the opportunities God opens up. God is working in the circumstances we are in.

“When we are in the will of God, we are mumbling about it!” This is sin.

----

Some prayers from the meeting:

COME WALK IN THE MIDST OF US!

“we acknowledge the wickedness of our land.”

“We have such a capacity to do things without the mind of Christ, have mercy upon us.”

“you furnish a table in the wilderness.”

MAKE US READY FOR THE REVIVING WORK YOU ARE GOING TO DO!

“We are standing on Your Word, We are standing on the promises of God.”

“Prepare the speakers, make their hands clean and their hearts pure.”

ENVADE OUR PULPITS, OUR PEWS, OUR PRAYER MEETINGS AND EVEN GOD, OUR HEARTS!

“It’s You that we need again, O God!”

REVIVE US AGAIN

“We need you desperately to come and meet with us.”
“Forgive me for a critical spirit. Forgive us for a un-thankful spirit.”

WE BEG YOU FOR WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO!
“to see the manifest presence of your glory.”

Haven't we learned by now? Of course not! I'm guilty! Lord forgive me! There are a thousand places that I would rather be right now in my flesh man but I will rejoice in the Lord no matter where I am at. :-)

Don Courville shares on acts 17:28 where it says "we live, move and have our being in God." He shares about grumbling and complaining in God's will and how we must be thankful and alert to every opportunity that God gives us. A truly revived person will be a person who is being guided by the Spirit of God in daily life. Listen to this hour long prayer meeting as over 25 people share their hearts burden in prayer to see revival in our day.

That's a very good word. Thanks for sharing that. I missed the conference call.

Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

This is a very good word for christians here in America because we have so many options and we can always opt out we feel even though it's not God's will for us to. We can't always see God's hand in each and every situation. I would rather be home homeschooling my kids but maybe God would rather have me work to reach the lost. I guess we shouldn't question why the road blocks and U-turns but just accept that it's His will for us and make the best of it.
