Notes From Last Conference Call prayer meeting (July 15th)..

Saints,

Here are some notes I took down during last weeks prayer time, I believe God is speaking through these times to us on how to prepare our hearts for the revival conference events:

---

July 15th, 2008
Speaker: Clayton Dougan

"we are doing it all wrong. The glory is on the outside.

A new revelation of the majesty of His being.

A mighty demonstration of the presence of God.

2 Peter 3:9 "is not slow concerning His promises"

Plead with God that the glory of God would come.

A NEW CONSCIOUSNESS of God in society.

We have little or no idea of the glory of God, your holiness.

THE GLORY OF GOD coming on His people again.

----

Some prayers from the meeting:

"THE CROSS IS OUR FRIEND"

"an awareness of your presence."

Pour out a Spirit of prayer, a spirit of grace and supplication."

"enable our prayers to be powerful and effective."

ITS YOU, ITS YOU, WE LONG AFTER!"

"If you will not meet us we will not go!"

You would grip our hearts with the Spirit of the FEAR OF THE LORD."

"That you would manifest your presence in our communities."

"BREAK OUR HEARTS.. OH THE COSTLINESS OF IT!"

Re: Notes From Last Conference Call prayer meeting (July 15th)..

Here are some more notes from the prayer meeting:

A perpetual flame

Come in spite of us

Purify our motives

Purge us with your holy fire

Work in my heart to love the Word of God.

For Sermonindex…protect this site, this old path and old way of holiness…protection, set a fire around it and keep it safe…Continue to bring the Word through Sermonindex.

The conferences…bring purity to them…that we would have your Word and your presence above all.

Create more of a hunger and thirst for you.

Let this conference be different in that our eyes are fixed upon you. A genuine brokenness upon each speaker...That we would stand in awe of your greatness.

It’s You we long for. It’s Your glory we long to come upon us.

We will not go anywhere without You leading us

We will pay that price if You’ll allow us to be undone

We long for You. We long for the demonstration of Your Spirit.

Re: More notes on speaker introduction to prayer

#1 Don Courville 07/01/08 Strong encouragement to prayer and the necessity for those who pray to have clean hands.

#2 Garth Evans 7/08/08 – There is a tape on SI of this time of prayer. The message focused on

§ From 2 Samuel 6 - bringing the ark (the presence of God) back. Not man’s/the world’s way, carried on a cart, helping God out, touching His Glory. God’s way, the only way
o To a place prepared
o To His people

§ From Psalm 24 – The whole of it. Verse 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

#3 Clayton Dougan 7/15/08

§ From Job 38 - When God comes there is revelation: How little we know of Him. Light without any darkness. There is subjection to His ways. An awareness of self: Who are You?! Where were you when I laid the foundations?

§ From Revelation 3 - I stand at the door and knock. Glory just outside the door. Open the door and the Glory of God come in.

§ From 2 Peter 3 - (with highlight of verse 9) God is not slow. Come to repentance. Mockers, attitudes every where in the world
