| Matthew Stephen Prophet from the state of Washington. | | Has anyone heard of or know anything about Matthew Stephen a Prophet from the state of Washington? A buddy of mine sent me an audio link from a Bible study Matthew attended here in Houston. It was a two part audio, but that guy was so prideful and arrogant "that is the way he came across to me" I could not listen to the second part. If I am allowed to link this audio "per rules here" I would be glad to, I would Love to get others feedback on him, because it could just be my personal attitude but I doubt it. _________________ Bill

How any moreso than somebody calling themselves a pastor, elder, or teacher? Paul called himself an apostle many times. So what's wrong with a man identifying himself as such if he is such? (not that I am saying this man is) _________________ Jimmy H

Probably because the connotations have changed so much for one thing. Have the same reaction as Krispy upon hearing it these days ... "Oh boy, here we go" ... again. _________________ Mike Balog

"I just got back from from a ministry trip, from Ohio to New York, We had meetings across the North, struck the Statue Liberty, and the Great Lakes. When I struck the Great Lakes the very next day there was a 5.4 earthquake in the mid west and the buildings in Chicago at the great lake shook and 14 states felt the quake. The hand writing is on the wall there is so much happening right now in America, I see the Lord God sending His hand of Judgment on this land."

| Re: Matthew Stephen Prophet from the state of Washington. | | I believe a prophet proclaims God's word just as he did in the OT and in the early church. The difference being scripture is complete now and there are no new revelations.
I leave room to be corrected by the Lord, but I don't think there are any Agabus' around today.
Looking at 1st Cor. 13:29; after the office of apostle the prophet follows then the teacher. There is a dominant office of today unmentioned if prohet isn't referring to the man that preaches the word. _________________ Randy Lambert

| Re: | | I don't personally know this man but have heard him speak with Andrew Strom. He came out of the Vineyard church and the Kansas City prophets.
