Can anyone recommend a good daily devotion for my wife and I to read together. We had been using the Charles Spurgeon one that comes with ESWORD, but we are looking for something else. Not that there is anything I find wrong with it, its just a personal thing. In Christ - Jim
Personally, I enjoyed reading through Oswald Chambers' My Utmost for His Highest, but I'm sure you've already thought of that one. It will be interesting to see what others recommend.

Hello brother Jim, besides what the other brethren recommended I want turn you attention to this:The Mute Christian Under the Smarting RodCHRIST'S SYMPATHY TO WEARY PILGRIMSBrother, I cannot recommended enough these two readings, for a pilgrim on the narrow way. What a comfort and focusing to heaven and Christ. You can check also here:Daily DevotionsKire
Not a devotional per se but I enjoy reading J.C. Ryle's Thoughts on the Gospels as a devotional. He takes a short section of scripture and it reads like a devotional. Often quite moving. In His service,Steve

I personally love "The Valley of Vision" it is a collection of Puritan prayers and devotions, it brings back to your mind the fact that you are totally undeserving of God's Love and Grace and yet He has still given it to you, there are also a weeks worth of prayers at the back of the book.
