I heard praises to our God and rushed right over! I'm not missing out on any of that!

He inhabits the praises of his people! Need to be in His presence? Burst out in spontaneous praise!

"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."

 Re:

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice:

let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:

let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalm 5:11-12

Hey Roniya!

Those words bring back memories... a young Canadian singer visited the house church I was in a loooong time ago, and taught us a tune to them - which all came back to me many times over the years, to lift my heart up to God.

There is another uplifting song based on Psalm 142:7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me, which also carries the spirit upwards to God...

He brought my soul out of prison
That I might praise His name,
The righteous shall compass me around
For He has dealt bountifully with me
With me, with me, with me.

Amen. Thanks Bill... :-)

Ooh, the times when I wish we could hear each other across the typewriter. I'd love to hear you sing that, Linn. :) I love hearing the Psalms put to music.

Ps 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

And a blessed taste it is...thank you Lord!
