NothingThose who have nothingHave nothing to lose. Those who hold looselyAre blessed just to use. When nothing is ownedThere's no cost to maintain. If something is lostThere's no sense of pain. What a blessing it isTo count all things as loss,In exchange for salvationPaid for on the cross.Lord help me to seeThis world's passing away,Consumed in a fire,Just like stubble and hay.It has nothing to offerThat should catch my eye,Save only distractionsTo which I must die. You've called me your friendAnd said what's yours is mine. But there's nothing I want,Except Your life for mine. - Drew

Thanks for this reminder! It's hard sometimes to explain to our children how things take on a power of themselves if we don't intentionally let loose of them. We are to be funnels that God's blessings flow through. Lord make this a reality in my life! Thanks again!Barry

Hi Barry, Christmas greetings :-) You have touched on a matter close to my heart, that I call 'channels only' theology.
We are to be funnels that God's blessings flow through.
Bro Kire directed me to this sermon , and it would do us good to hear thisThe Beauty of Nothing by Richard Wurmbrandhttps://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=4529
