 Exclusive Light: Temporal or Eternal?

Devotional: Darkness has no definition without Light. Darkness is merely the absence of Light and not the other way around. So when we shine for CHRIST around others, shadows are born. Those who were once Lost in the dark without knowledge nor evidence of HIS radiance, shrink back at the first because of how bright HE truly is. Yet many will – in the spirit of “seeker sensitive” go too far and permit darkness a small window. To use a simple analogy, no bad apple when placed into a bucket of good apples…has no effect. Carefully weight that which you use to attract the Lost to CHRIST. A diluted light is doubly dangerous in that its complacency skews the unbeliever to assume that there is little pain in the transfer from walking with the world to walking in Light. It also does damage to ones message and mission. Christianity, as I have stated often times, is an exclusive path. We are told in HIS WORD, “No man cometh to the Father unless I draw him.” We plant seed, others water, but only GOD gives the increase. Thus when a diluted message is presented by a dim light, the seed has no staying power nor any endurance. Therefore, its faith perishes and it returns to its old ways. Are you then seeking the Lost for CHRIST with temporal or eternal mindset? Let us examine ourselves and our ministries closely. There is no middle ground. Amen and amen.

Exclusive Light

When Light is removed from one’s presence
only darkness remains
only sin’s complete stain…
and no rescue from flesh can be present.

Hence the shadows existence needs light
else no difference is shown
when removed is CHRIST”s glow.
So, HIS beacon “exposes” the night.

It is every last demon’s design,
which HIS radiance destroys
yea, each devils’ last ploy…
for none can remain whilst we shine.

Thus, HIS sunlight must be poured through us
and be always displayed
until all of Heav’n rays…
best represent our LORD JESUS.

Now take note of your lighting and stand
attracting those Lost
and not all at “all costs”
lest the darkness crush your open hand!

As HIS servant in your service,
W.V.W. Jasnoch
