 Question about William Branham?

I am just curious to know what the posters of SI think in regards to Brother William Branham's ministry?

And is there any thing on SI website pertaining to Brother Branham-like audios, photos, articles.etc..

I must have at least 2000 of Brother Branhams sermons and I would love to share with with everyone.

 Re: Question about William Branham?

Many years ago when Willian Branham was still living, we had a couple nearby who were one of his disciples. After Branham died, they declared him to have been a fase prophet. If I recall right, his disciples expected him to rise from the dead after a few days had elapsed. Last I heard his body is still dead.

Perhaps you may want to check out the sites He Reigns posted...

This is my opinion....

Did they delcare him to be a false prophet because he did not rise from the dead-did he ever prophecy that he would?

Yea, I will check those sites out.

Do you still have contact with that couple?

I do not know the answer to this question. But do know they were very vocal about their displeasure with him.

After doing a brief scan of "Watchman's Fellowship" site, I saw where there were Latter Rain preachers who prayed over the body, expecting him to rise. Now this alone may not be enough to discredit him. But I would urge you to check out this site. WF is a very good one. We have had their reps here to teach us about cults. The probability of Branham resurrecting pales in comparison to the doctrines he taught.

I seldom see this 'couple': the man has since died and the widow lives out-of-state. She today is part of a Pentecostal/Holiness church, I think.

Blessings,

 Re: Question about William Branham?

Paul Cain is also tied to Branham from what I know calling him the greatest prophet ever. The whole prophetic movement is tied to Cain. And from what I read many in the healing circles are inspired by Branham. This just all sounds crazy to me. I wonder how much of that past stuf was delusion and false and lying wonders like Jannes and Jambres the Egyptian magicians. If you look at what is going on today with golddust, angel feather's, toronto manifestation's of drunkennes, and even more stuff, and many are saying this is real I dont know if I would disagree with them however I would say that it is "really" false delusion.

For Branham to teach such things as Eve's sin was fornication with serpent, some pyramid was built by Enoch, Manifest Sons of God theology "and I still don't know if they are really realy calling themselves a God in the way that the Mormons would" but it is bad, it is just out of control. It doesnt take much discernment. If this man were the great Prophet of the last days then he would not have had such horrible theology and his prophecies would have been backed. Eerily there are many with the same "forerunner message as him and no disease known to man will stand".
