 Dying and Thirsty World

A dying and thirsty world.

After 2,000 years of Christianity and the Church of Jesus Christ How can it still be so that.....

Nearly a billion soulds perform rituals and bring sacrifices to more than 330 deities.

1.3 billion Muslims prostrate themselves in prayer toward Mecca five times a day.

a sun worshipper stares into the rising sun until eventually goes blind

thousand of devout buddhist renounce everything in life , leave their families and become monks , owing nothing but saffron robe and a begging bowl.

Why??

Because they sincerely seek forgiveness of sins. And because they are a part of the nearly 3 billion people living in the 10/40 window today who are waiting to hear the Gospel.

500,000 Villages in India alone have no Gospel witness.

80,000 people die daily without ever hearing the Gospel.

99.8% of all resources within the Church is spent at home- on itself. And only 0.01 percent is spent to reach the unreached.

Gospel For Asia www.gfa.org

Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry?

Could a doctor sit in comfort and let his patients die?

Could a fireman sit idle . let men burn and give no hand?

Could you sit at ease in Zion with the world around you DAMNED???

 Re: Dying and Thirsty World

How do we deal with the magnitude of it all? Are all damned who have never heard? If not perhaps it would be better if we never went. Are we more"damned" if we don't go because we were told to? We all have a field ripe for harvest, but you're right - the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Oh God don't let me be content not rolling up my sleeves with sweat and toil and prayer and action.
