| A Litmus Test | | Saints,
Here is a sure way to know if the preacher you are listening to is true or false if you are unsaved....
You love everything he has to say. Cute stories, prosperity, etc.
You hate everything he has to say. Convicting, the wrath to come, etc.

| Re: | | LiveforGod,
It actually just popped into my head when I was feeding the baby earlier this evening.
And truthfully the total opposite is true of the saved man. You grow to hate those stories about puppydogs and grandmas, because then you become conscious of the preacher's manipulation tactics to build you up in emotion and not anointing. You also end up getting offended by the prosperity gospel, because to see people peddle the word of God is just so wrong. You also begin to love the hard preaching that actually wakes you up out of your coma.
You come to realize you never got past that first thing Jesus said about losing your life in order to find it! Thank God for the few faithful ministers there are. Unfortunately most of them are dead, but at least this site has preserved much of the treasure.
I truly don't know where I would be without this website and this community of believers.
Probably at a West Coast Believers Convention!

P.S. I love puppydogs and grandmas, just not as a sermon.

You're listening to him on TBN.

That is hilarious!

P.S. They do occassionally have true people on, remember Paul Washer was on when Kirk Cameron was hosting something. Well actually that is the only instance I can think of. ;-) _________________ Murray Beninger
