 bible commentaries

Hello,
I am new here. I wanted to ask if any one can recommend a bible commentary.
I am not looking for a modern commentary but more of a puritan commentary.

thank you very much,

John Wesley's 'Notes' (available as a free module on e-sword or mac-sword) it is rather brief in many areas,
( I use it in conjunction with Matthew Henry's )

Believers Commentary is one that I use frequently, its by William MacDonald. Adam Clarke is a good and Darby is good too. Suggestion. Instead of purchasing several commentaries. I use bible software that has several different commentaries , along with abundant study tools. QuickVerse and Bible Navigator is pretty good. Worth looking into.
www.crosstv.com has a section that has recommended reading, and it all good solid biblical teaching books and study tools.
