 Apo Lukes last words?

i remember reading a story about this? can anyone help out? when he was facing death tradition says he was asked a couple of questions, im looking for this but cant find it.....

Sorry, never heard about this until now.

I have read in Fox's Book of Martyrs that Luke was supposed to have been hung.

As for his last words I really don't know of any, by him or any of the other apostles.

Interesting though.

ive searched the net and found three different accounts, hmmmmm?? and none of them is the one i looked fore, maybe im confusing things,

i thought it went something similar to this: he is asked where he comes from, he says im a christian, he is asked what his name is : he says im a christian and answers like that to many questions

or something like this.... does anyone hear a bell ringing ? lol :-)

I believe you're thinking of Eusebius' record of Sanctus' martyrdom.

Search the content of that page for "I am a Christian" to read an account of Sanctus' martyrdom.

I coincidentally read it last night in Dr. Paul Maier's excellent book "Eusebius: The Church History"
