Favorite hymns and quotes proclaiming the gospel and grace to man

In another thread someone asked what is the gospel. I thought in this thread we could make a collection of our favorite quotes and hymns declaring the gospel and the grace of God to us.

I had given the hymn How Deep the Fathers Love For Us as one:

How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Please add to your hearts content!

I really like come though fount because it has a concise presentation of the gospel complete with forgiveness through the cross but not lacking what our life should be now.

I often use this hymn with sinners, once they've been brought to the realisation of the exceeding sinfulness of their sin. This and of course, Amazing Grace:
Quote:

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see

It is truly amazing to seethe reaction when an awakened sinner hears the words to this hymn, which have they have heard so many times with no effect, and then then suddenly comprehend what Newton was on about. I always give special emphasis to the words "wretch" and also "now", in order to acknowledge what repentance truly is.

From here I love to show them the second verse:
Quote:

'Twas grace that taught my hear to fear
And by grace that fear relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

It is the very grace of God that allows a sinner the oportunity to hear the gospel. What an honour it is to see a sinner to go from a careless haphazard philosophy, where God is a mere concept amongst many others, to the realisation of the fearfulness of falling into His hands, only to have His perfect love cast out all fear.
Quote:

Turn you eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the Light of His glory and grace.

The hymns are an incredible tool for evangelism. I love to place a sinner's hand into that of a hymn writer, in order to display that they are not experiencing something unknown, but it has been a veiled mystery that has been before them, plainly all along.
Quote:

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Acts 17:24-27
