Re:

I really enjoyed the new program. Alas, I still haven't been able to burn my DVD's.

I think it's MY BLANK DVD. Can someone name a GOOD brand of DVD's to get? Because mine, out of 50, don't seem to be working.

 Re:

Could you tell us on which stage the problem comes out?
I doubt that the problem is with the blank DVD.

The DVD that you are trying to copy is it bigger than 4.7GB? Is it protected?

If the DVD is bigger than 4.7GB then you need double layer blank DVD in order to copy it.

 Re:

As I said before, "I'm using this type of blank DVD.

Maxwell, DVD+R, Burns up to 8x, 4.7 GB, 2 hrs in SP mode."

I'm stuck on the part where it finds/scans (or whatever) my blank DVD. It can read my Original DVD fine. But even when I try 10 other BLANK DVD's, it DOES NOT register, it says "Put a blank DVD in". It did that with the other programs too.

It's not protected because I copied the Original DVD onto my computer with NO PROBLEMS.

So, again, what are some GOOD blank DVD's?

 Re:

Thanks for the information.
Have you ever burnt a DVD?

From what I can see both of your drives are combo drives, which means doesn't support burning DVD's, just reading them. And you can burn just CD's.

 Re:

Nope, but I can play them. It says Device type 'DVD' and Cd's. So I don't see why it can't burn DVD's.

This is called Combo Drive.
"A Combo drive is a type of optical drive that combines CD-R/CD-RW recording capability with the ability to read (but not write) DVD media."

So are both of my Drives CD burners only?
