 J. Sidlow Baxter - am I alone?

Am I alone? The man has inspired me deeply this week. I know they are kinda old but I am so pleased to have the privilage to hear him on this site. Just try - oh say "To know Him and the Power of the resurrection." I study his well known work "Explore the Book" its a classic and a piece of art. Full of poetic originality.

Well not for long...

Thanks Thotful. Welcome!
One of the great things about this site is that others recommended messages that have inspired them or encouraged them.

You have my interest peaked now, will have to give these a listen.

May I recommend a couple?

Well, not for much longer. Plan on going back into development as an assistant superintendant.
I am a lousy business man.

How is your business?

Thanks Thotful.

I was really inspired from this message:

What a great man of God. I plan on listening to all his messages now. A great sense of humor to go along with his intellect. In this message he talked a bit on Sam Hadley and the Water Street Mission. He had mentioned a book called "Down in Water Street" that was difficult to come by at that time (during the Nixon era) but fortunately I found it here and it is printed online:

Again, thanks for unearthing this gem and bringing it to our attention.
