I have Calvins on both and I am reading John Stotts on Romans. I would like people who really loved Christ and may have slightly different views. I have fun comparing what different lovers of Christ think regarding a verse or two. I guess I am just down to read a good commentary. Please let me knowGod Bless Thom
Andrew Murray's 'the Holiest of All' is an excellent commentary on Hebrews. It is very readable despite being detailed/long and quite in-depth.Peter
For my bible college class on the 'Book of Romans' we are reading Encountering the Book of Romans by Douglas Moo. He doesn't seem to take a 'calvinsit' or 'Arminian' point of view. But rather a Reformed or 'new' perspective on Romans.
William Newell wrote verse by verse commentaries on both Romans and Hebrews (as well as on Revelations.I have to agree with PCB, Andrew Murray's commentary on Hebrews is great!God's Guidance to you,In His service,Preacheraflame
