"Pilgrim and Sojourner." - 1 Peter 2:11

 Prayer for Revival -Spurgeon

Oh! men and brethren, what would this heart feel if I could but believe that there were some among you who would go home and pray for a revival men whose faith is large enough, and their love fiery enough to lead them from this moment to exercise unceasing intercessions that God would appear among us and do wondrous things here, as in the times of former generations. -C. H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon relied very heavily on prayer and even at times exclaimed that the ministry of his church would wane and stop being spiritually fruitful without the many people praying during each service for God to do a work amongst His people. We need to start desperately praying again during our services for God to move spiritually in our midst.

"All the ends of the world, and all the kingdoms of this earth, shall profit me nothing. It is better for me to die for the sake of Jesus Christ, than to reign over all the ends of the earth. "For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, but lose his own soul? "I long after the Lord, the Son of the true God and Father, even Jesus Christ. Him I seek, who died for us and rose again." - St. Ignatius of Antioch (35 -117)
