Promises of God

It's important that we dwell on the promises of God and I thought maybe we could start a thread like the Great Quotes thread except have a Promises of God thread.It would help to build our faith up.Sometimes I forget all of the promises of God so if anyone knows of some promises of God in the bible please share one.Here's mine:

Psalm 37:25,26 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.He is ever merciful and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

 Re: Promises of God

So many great promises in Psalms, here's one of my favorites...

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
(Psalms 91:1)

In Christ,

Ron

 Re: Promises of God

Matthew 7:9-11 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luke 11:11-13 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

 Re:

Job 36

5 “Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one;
He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 He does not preserve the life of the wicked,
But gives justice to the oppressed.
7 He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous;
But they are on the throne with kings,
For He has seated them forever,
And they are exalted.

Way back then men knew of this promise.

In Christ
Jeff

 Re:

Psalms 84

4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
Selah

5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.

6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with
pools.

7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.

 Re:

Isaiah 40:28-31

Hast hou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of heavens ond earth, fainteth not neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

 Re:

Isaiah 35:

8 A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.
