I just got through the wilderness almost to deuternomony ... plodding along! It's great how the Lord is using alot of what I am reading in practical sharing with people and situations.

I just want to encourage people not to be discouraged if you are not keeping up on the plan, even to finish reading the plan in 2 months is a great feat and what an awesome thing to do. Keep pressing in and learning more about God, and hopefully knowing Him better in the process. Lord show us more of you! We want more of you and less of us.

 Re:

I'm slowly getting caught up. I should be done in December.

We do it as a congregration in January and start on January 1 by reading aloud the first 30 or so chapters in Genesis together. It's quite a blessing...

Do you have time to share some of these precious truths? I know it would bless everyone if you did.

 Re:

I am wondering how is everybody doing in the plan? Right now I am in Job and finishing Luke. If I stick to it and not lose hope I will be able to finish before the new year.

I thank God that He has given me a love for Him and His word. If He did not I would still be sitting in darkness.

Re: The "26 Day" Bible Plan

I've started doing this in the last few days, I'm on day 4 today.

Following the plan, I'll finish on the 12th of January, which means that I won't be done by New Years Eve/Day, but then again I'm not doing this to be done by 2006, I'm doing it to grow in understanding of God, and be pointed to Him more fully.

It's not easy, but I've got quite a few pages worth of short verses or notes I got at the time to go back over after I finish the 26 days, and as a result of it I've decided to do a study of some specific sections already (I got heaps out of John 15-16, and Romans. Need to go back over them).

Thank you for the blessing this is, has been and will be for me!

PS: Aaron, I'll send you a copy. Sending now.

Edit: Meant to say this originally but forgot.

BEWARE Day 3 of the Old Testament. That has been the hardest section I have read over. Pretty much 50% of the cleanliness laws exist in that section, or so it seemed! Day 4 & 5 still have some of that, but also contain some narrative and actual accounts of Israel, rather than just straight Law.
