 Re:

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined .....

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9 vs 2, 6, 7

Isaih 40:29-31
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall:
BUT they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you and watch over you.

Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you."

Philippians 3:7,8

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,

 Re:

WHEN WE EXPERIENCED DELIVERANCE THROUGH GOD’S PROMISE, IT SHOULD BE NATURAL FOR US TO PRIASE HIM AND SHARE THE GOOD NEWS WITH OTHERS. IF WE CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE WHO SUFFER AS WE DID, WE COULD BE SELFISH NOT TELL HOW GOD HAS DELIVERED US.

BOASTING ABOUT OUR GOD AND THE HELP HE HAS GIVEN US IS ONE KIND OF BOASTING THAT IS GOOD. THIS KIND OF GODLY BOASTING WILL NOT ONLY ENCOURAGE OTHERS IN THE RECOVERY PROCESS, BUT IT WILLS ALSO STRENTHTHEN OUR FAITH IN GOD.

Psalm 34 – Max Lucado / Devotional Bible

I will praise the Lord at all times, his praise is always on my lips
My whole being praises the Lord. The poor will hear and be glad.
Glorify the Lord with Me and let us praise his name together.
I asked the Lord to help, and he answered me. He saved me from all that I feared.
Those who go to him for help are happy, and they are never disgraced.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him and saved him from all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord camp around those who fear God and he saves them.
Examine and see how good the Lord is. Happy is the person who trust him.
You who belong to the Lord, fear him! Those who fear him will have everything they need.
Even lions may get weak and hungry, but those who look to the Lord will have every good things.
Children, come and listen to me. I will teach you to worship the Lord.
You must do these things to enjoy life and have many happy days.
You must not say evil things and you must not tell lies.
Stop doing evil and do good.
Look for peace and work for it.
The Lord sees the good people and listens to their prayers.
But the Lord is against those who do evil, he makes the world forget them.
The Lord hears good people when they cry out to him and he saves them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirit have been crushed.
People who do what is right may have many problems, but the Lord will solve them all.
He will protect their very bones, not one of them will be broken.
Evil will kill the wicked, those who hat good people will be judged guilty.
But the Lord saves his servants lives no one who trust him will be judged guilty.

I will boast only in the Lord let all that are discouraged take heart.
Come, let us tell of the Lords greatness, and let us exalt his name together.
I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me, freeing me from all my fears.
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy. No shadow of shame will darken their faces.
I cried out to the Lord in my suffering, and he heard me. He set me free from all my fears.
For the angel of the Lord guards all who fear him, and he rescues them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in Him!
Let the Lord’s people show him reverence, for those who honor him will have all they need.
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will never lack any good thing.
Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
Do any of you want to live a life that is long and good?
Then watch your tongue! Keep your lips from telling lies!
Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in peace with others.
They eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, his ears are open to their cries for help.
But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.
The lord hears for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the broken hearted, he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.
The righteous face many troubles, but the Lord rescues them from each and everyone.
For the Lord protects them from harm not one of their bones will be broken.
Calamity will surely overtake the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
Everyone who trusts in him will be freely pardoned.

Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
Depart from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
He guards all his bones, not one of them is broken.
Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
The lord redeems the Soul of his servants and none of these who trust in Him shall be condemned.
