| Re: | | Yes, like gigantopithicus.
Of course there are all sorts of other prehistoric mammals that must fit somewhere as well, like glyptodon and megatherium. _________________ Todd

| Re: | | Okay then; I fit them in the ark. We don't see sabretooth tigers or woolly mammoths anymore, but we know they had representatives on the ark, i. e. the cat kind and the elephant kind. So also there must have been 2 of every kind of dinosaur (there are about 50 basic kinds of dinosaurs). Glyptodons are armadillos, we see those today. Megatherium are sloths, we see those today.
Plus, there is no such thing as "pre-history", it's just a made up word. We know history "In the beginning". _________________ Nigel Holland

Todd says,
"When the flood waters subsided repopulation began but there were already thousands of species of animals not killed by the flood."
God says,
And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the earth, to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the earth will perish. Genesis 6:17

Todd,
I must not have a high enough IQ to understand how the 1 Corinthians 13 verse you quoted relates to my last post.
I am not a scientist or a linguist.
Please explain if you would.
Thanks

| Re: | | Savannah: If you didn't already know, secular science touts themselves as intellectually superior to Christians. They figure anyone who believes that old book of myths cannot be very smart.
Now combine this with a Christian someone who has been fed by secularist science and you will see that elitist attitude emerge from time to time. "In the beginning God made them male and female" So said Jesus. But we live in an age that thinks it's ways smarter than some idiot Christian with a bible that thinks "all there is are male and female". That simplistic, childish, unscientific, uneducated opinion emerges from the mental imbeciles of our day.
It's fashionable to use the word of God against the Christian when he demonstrates faith in God where science is contradicting a God of truth.
The use of secular ad-homs by Christians is nothing new.

| Re: | | “All” does not always mean an exhaustive “all” in scripture. Joel 2:28, Ez 20:48, Is 66:24; Ps 65:2.
Earth does not always mean (and often does not) the entire globe in scripture.
What does “mountain” mean? What does “high” mean?
What “world” was flooded? See Gen 9:19. To what whole earth were they scattered? See Gen 10. This whole earth mentioned does not add up to the entire globe.
An argument can be made for a local flood from scripture itself; you don’t need geology, etc. _________________ Todd
