Brothagary, hope you are having a good day. Blessings. the Bible says no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. All I gave was Scripture and you began trying to explain the Word of God away? What Scripture was it you didn't believe?
James 5:19-20 KJV Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; [20] Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
James is talking to the BRETHREN. He says if a brother errs from the truth( how can one err from something they didn't have in the first place?) And one Converts HIM( brother who erred) let him know that he which converteth the sinner shall save a soul(not body) from death.
Here is more Scripture
Hebrews 10:23, 26-27, 29, 31, 38-39 KJV Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. [29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? [31] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. [38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
2 Timothy 2:12 KJV If we suffer, we shall also reign with him : if we deny him , he also will deny us:
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 KJV Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, IF ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
Romans 11:22 KJV Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Matthew 24:12-13, 46-51 KJV And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. [46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. [48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; [49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; [50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him , and in an hour that he is not aware of, [51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Hebrews 3:1, 6, 8, 12, 14 KJV Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; [6] But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. [8] Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [12] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [14] For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Luke 9:62 KJV And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. Have a great day. _________________ Elijah
