 Interesting question.

Are you ready/prepared to be condemned to hell if that were God's will for you?

 Re: Interesting question.

I have no question in my mind that that is NOT GOD's will for me because HE has regenerated me and given me eternal life in CHRIST. For those whom HE predestined HE also called, those HE called HE also justified and those HE justified HE also GLORIFIED!(Romans 8:30)

The golden chain of redemption is all in the past tense as though it were already complete since it is sure and absolute in its finality. Notice also that all of those links in that golden chain of redemption are all things that GOD does. It is not as though I am dependent upon myself and therefore I have assurance of heaven since I am believing on CHRIST.

I understand all that, but the question only needs a simple yes or no answer.

 Re:

No, I am not prepared for God to contradict the covenant I believe He has made with me in Christ, but hypothetically, if I proved to be a reprobate, then, yes, I have no argument with God's just damnation of me.

Who am I to reply against Him? Does the thing formed say to Him who formed it, Why have you made me thus? If God withheld His grace, no doubt I would be only a willful enemy of His holiness and an opponent of the gospel. His grace is His to give, to have mercy upon whom He will have mercy. I cannot contest that fact, but gladly receive the promises of the gospel as belonging to whosoever believes on the substitutionary death of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. His sovereignty to save or to withhold saving grace does not impugn the validity of the gospel promises.

strange question since the Word says God does not want anyone to perish. So it can not be His will that people go to hell, but that all come to repentance.

but as a.w tozer said "even if God sends me to hell at least there will be one man praising him there because he is worthy to be praised." i am not sure i nailed that quote since he said it in a sermon, but i think i got the point tozer was trying to get across.

In the meantime let us re-emphasize that the thing that matters is that no 'truth', 'doctrine', theory or teaching, whether it be good or doubtful, must ever be allowed to become either an end in itself, or a sidetrack. It must never be taken out of the essential context of God's full purpose. - Sparks

Yes, that may be the case, but a slave doesn't desire what a master desires, but only submits out of fear of retribution. When the term Master is applied to Christ, it is always associated with a measure of unbelief. It would be better to use one of the master's sons as an example.

Were the Master to command a son to go, should the desire of the son be to go?

 Re:

Joe,

Jesus has not asked me this question and I see no where in the bible that he has asked anyone else either. Hell was created for the devil and his angels.

Joe, I am very concerned about you. You probably don’t care right now anyway but I am having a hard time finding any humility in your writings. Look at what you are writing in all your posts, you seem to be hard with the truth you know and superior to everyone else’s writings. The bible says that we are to speak the truth in Love.

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

I don’t know if you realize the tone of your writings. From your writings it seems like you have been told to leave a church. I hope you the best and I pray you are not carrying any bitterness from your past. I mean no harm by writing this and if I have misread your posts please forgive me.

Looks like I should give out a hint here.

Hell was created for the Devil and his angels, but did the Son of God not willingly go there at His Father's command?

If there are no other responses, I will explain with my next post.

BTW: I forgive you.
