"Trust in the Lord for help. You will honor Him if you expect help from Him in this matter. Give yourself to prayer for help, expect help, and you will have it." George Muller

"The impulse to pursue God originates with God, but the outworking of that impulse is our following hard after Him.." ~'The Pursuit of God' A.W. Tozer

 Re:

"Give us a sense of urgency that will not be denied. Give such desire Your work to see, till ease we cast aside. Give us soul-hunger and soul-thirst, till hearts with longing almost burst, Till we could wish ourselves accursed if souls but reach Your side!" Wesley L. Duewel

"God gets me into a relationship with Himself whereby I understand His call, then I do things out of sheer love for Him on my own account. To serve God is the deliberate love-gift of a nature that has heard the call of God." Oswald Chambers

 Re:

“O Eternity! Let thy ages tramp, thy cycles roll, but thou canst not crumble or scar the walls of Hell, or rust and break its locks, or silver the hair of God, who has sworn by His eternal self that the sinner shall die. The pendulum of thy horologe over the gates of woe vibrates through all aeons, and says, “forever, and ever”–“forever, and ever”–“forever, and ever”–its sounding bell striking off the centuries, the ages…O Eternity! God has wound up thy clock and it will never run down.” ~William E. Munsey

 Re:

During the last war we were taught that, in order to obtain our objective, we had to be willing to be expendable. . . . We know that there is only one answer when our country demands that we share in the price of freedom—yet when the Lord Jesus asks us to pay the price for world evangelization, we often answer without a word. We cannot go. We say it costs too much. . . . Missionaries constantly face expendability.

Re: May His Light Shine, Amen.

I pray that God does bless me (make me holy, have peace with God even in division over the Word) and shine His light in the dark places. Once I try to shine my light, I fail over and over again.

Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

John 1:8
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

John 5:35
He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

John 1:9
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
