Whatever Happened To Repentance? by David Wilkerson

Topic: Repentance
Scripture(s): Luke 5:32, Mark 1:15
Description: From an International Pastor Conference, Wilkerson preaches on the forgotten message of repentance. We have millions a year that come to Christ but their life has no repentance. You hardly even hear the word used in Evangelical, Baptist and Pentecostal churches today. Just believe and you’re saved. All of those messages are for naught without repentance.

Topic:
Scripture(s): Malachi 3:1-4
Description: August 8, 2004 - If there is unforsaken sin in our heart it makes it impossible for the Holy Spirit to flow through us. But for the Christian that really wants the heart of God and desires the fullness of Christ, you will go into the refiners fire. Each one will go through our own fire according to the impurities that is in us. God will allow this fire for the last days so He can raise up a tried and tested army.

When God Comes Down by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Description: August 17, 2008 - God is calling the people in the the body of Christ to begin to stir themselves up for the latter rain. When we choose to wait in the Lord the Holy spirit will bring our focus back to Jesus and winning lost souls. When the Holy Ghost comes down there are three evidences. First, He will renew our hunger for the presence of Jesus and put an expectation in our heart. Second, there will be an outbreak of gladness that is indescribable in its power. And last, the body of Christ will be awakened to the coming of the Lord. Our prayer will be, "Come Lord Jesus, come!"

When the Boat Sinks by David Wilkerson

Topic: Trials
Scripture(s): Luke 8:22-24;Acts 27
Description: Nobody would believe a boat would go down with Jesus on it, would they? He stilled the water and calmed the storm for the disciples. But when Paul, and the prisoners were on the boat, bound for Rome, the storm tore the boat to pieces, and it went down. Paul had a word of hope from the Lord. All hell watched as God exposed every tool of the enemy, by sending them against Paul in this circumstance and his servant overcome. He kept him, and strengthened him. A wonderful message of encouragement for anyone in a hard trial. God prepares his people before the storm hits. And he takes them through it.

Where Do I Stand With God by David Wilkerson

Topic: Struggling
Scripture(s): Exodus 33:11, Exodus 17-23
Description: God does not yell at us when we are struggling. It is His desire to see us "strengthened in the inner man" that we might walk "in the Light" as He is in the Light. This message is a rebuke to those who viciously thunder condemning messages to those struggling with sin. If listened to out of context, and with a wrong spirit, one might think Brother Wilkerson is saying that "it doesn't matter if you sin." He is not. Brother Wilkerson emphasizes the importance of delivering the FULL counsel of God - that although there is great "severity" if one does not surrender their life to Jesus, the Lord is also full of forgiveness and loving-kindness. "By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, And by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil." Proverbs 16:6

Who Is Guarding The Front Door Of Your Home by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Nehemiah 7,Isaiah 44:1-4
Description: We must examine ourselves for how we raised our children, and live our lives, for we will stand before a holy God and give account. Parents are responsible for what comes into their homes. Watchmen and guards must be appointed and we must all fast and pray for our homes and families. Pastor Wilkerson uses Nehemiah as an example of a caring watchman who was burdened for Israel when they were rebuilding the walls of the broken down city of Jerusalem.

Why Are You Weeping by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): John 20:1-17
Description: Sometimes in our trials, we see our hurt and loss, but we can't at times see through our grief to understand we serve a living Jesus who has not left us alone. Too often we focus on our pain when we hurt so much we can't pray, because we don't know what to do. We might know the Lord in the fellowship of his suffering, but do we know him in the power of his resurrection? Every believer in trials needs this one.

Why do the Heathen Rage by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Psalms 2:1-5
Description: This is a heavy, yet necessary, message to the church in these last days. Wilkerson reminds me of a grandfather that speaks sternly to his children strictly because he loves them. "Their father knew my Father. But my Father is STRONGER than their Father!" is a recurring statement and theme in this sermon. Preaching from Psalms 2, we learn what it is about the righteous that gets the world bunched up. Learn where this rage comes from and why there is such a hatred for righteousness.

Why is it So Hard for Christians to Pray by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Hebrews 10: 19-22,Hebrews 2:3
Description: There are many reasons why so many Christians find it hard to pray. But prayer is a necessity, not a luxury. If we give God quality time he will answer us. When we mix our prayers with faith, they will work. To neglect prayer is to neglect God and the salvation he gave us. To not take advantage of the access given to us through the blood of Jesus is to take it lightly and do despite to the grace of God. Now more than ever the church needs to be praying.
