But if you are cold, and have no urgency to pray or read the word of God, no concern for the lost and are taking your sin lightly, you are on very dangerous ground. If you are being entertained by watching the sin of others on television, you are guilty of sin.

Everything Jesus did was to reconcile us to God. When we sin, we do not need to run and hide from God in fear and shame, suffering under condemnation and guilt. We need to run to him for forgiveness. We must believe him, and come to him so he can lift our burden and reveal himself to us. He knows what is best for us and wants a relationship with us as individuals.
