Scripture(s): Proverbs 1:29-32

The Cost of Going All The Way With God by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Acts 7:25
Description: This sermon and 'Winning Christ' became chapters in the book 'Hungry for more of Jesus.' It is a challenging sermon to give your all to Christ. Many take the message of the free grace of God and count everything as costless when it comes to Christianity. However, there is a cost that comes to the person that decides that they are going all of the way with God. One of the best ways to lose friends and family members is to turn to God with all of your heart, soul and mind.

The Cross and the New Covenant! by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Matthew 18:1-11,Ephesians 2:3-11,Colossians 2:2
Description: The Law was to bring us to the cross by showing us our own inability to make it or ever be good enough. The cross liberates us, the blood cleanses us from sin, and frees us from the law. The liberty of the New Covenant is freedom from sin, and bondage of striving in our flesh to be holy. Jesus refers to children in Matt 18, and warns against offending new Christians. We must allow the Holy Spirit to teach them, as we love them and pray for them. This is one of the best messages I've heard on the new covenant and the righteousness of Christ imputed to believers.

The Cry Of Sodom And Gomorrah by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Genesis 18
Description: March 7,2004 - God’s heart for intercession is a man that will cry out to God for the vilest sinners to be set free and saved. Homosexuality is an abomination – but what about the people that are bound in this sin? Where do we draw the line? We must seek the Lord and cry out to God with a heart full of compassion. Out of Genesis 18, Wilkerson preaches on the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah and puts this in a message for this day and age. He lays out the comparison of then and now. This is another prophetic message by Pastor Wilkerson.

The Cry of Sodom and Gomorrah (Kwasizabantu) by David Wilkerson

Topic: Sodom
Scripture(s): Genesis 18:17-21
Description: Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighbouring cities were exceedingly sinful before the Lord. They declared their sins openly. Violence was rampant, and their sexual perversions were not hidden. Their sin reached unto heaven and God could no longer keep silent. God decided to destroy them, but he was looking for someone to turn away His fierce wrath from them. Our society today has surpassed Sodom and Gomorrah in sin. God's judgement is surely coming, even as Billy Graham once said that, "if God does not judge America, He will have to apologise to Sodom and Gomorrah." Lot lived amongst them, but was no testimony. His only concern was for his own safety. He wanted to be saved, and considered the others beyond hope. Many Christians today live similar lives. They consider the homosexuals, rapists and murderers beyond salvation. They pray God's judgement upon them, and not for their salvation.

The Cup of Trembling by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Description: February 10, 2008 - This is a message about how God intends to handle our fear problem. There are four great fears: 1- Fear of survival and poverty, 2- Fear of losing children to sin, 3- Fear of calamity and terror, 4-The lack of political leaders. God never intended for His people to live in fear. God is a God who pleads the cause of His people. He pledges Himself to us and He puts His words in our mouth to destroy the lies of Satan that cause us to fear. This message admonishes us to keep our eyes on His resurrection power and to keep the FACE of JESUS before our eyes all throughout our days.

The Devil's Twins - Fret and Fear by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Psalm 37:1,1 Samuel 25,Psalm 46:1-11
Description: Scripture says in the last days evil men will wax worse and worse, and often the righteous are enflamed with anger when they see and hear of the wickedness perpetrated against the innocent, such as abortion. Bro. Wilkerson illustrates through the life of David in the scriptures how not to react to the wickedness of men when you are angry, in the flesh. We need to learn to stand in the gap in intercession and not fear what is coming on the earth in these last days, because the Lord will keep his own secure.
