Have You Heard? There is Bread in Bethlehem by Carter Conlon

Topic: Provision
Scripture(s): Ruth 1:19-22
Description: September 27, 2009 - Bethlehem is the place where God was given for the needs of humanity. As Christians there is an inner desire that God plants in our heart to go into His field and gather up those whom are considered outcasts and unwanted. God wants to revive the present day church to find strength and power one more time in His redemptive love. We are called to go into the world and pick up what nobody wants and tell the world there is bread enough for all and this bread is Jesus Christ Himself. May we all be awakened to the absolute value of one soul!

Hearing the Voice of the Lord by Carter Conlon

Topic: Voice Of God
Scripture(s): Psalm 29:1-11, John 10:3
Description: Why cant we hear the voice of the Lord? One reason is that we don’t have the mind of God and that is because we are not in the word of God. Secondly we are unwilling to hear what the Lord wants to speak to us. When we choose to deny ourself and live to glorify God, the Lord's voice will thunder into our heart. If you choose to live for His glory, He will speak to you and take you out of the image of self and bring you into the image of Christ. No matter what situation you find yourself in today God will still speak to you. The voice of the Lord is powerful and full of majesty. In His temple everyone speaks of His Glory!

Honouring God In an Impossible Place by Carter Conlon

Topic: Impossibility
Scripture(s): Ezekiel 37
Description: For the Scripture declares: “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him.” The question is, are we weak enough for God to call and use us? Are we empty of all the traditions of religious men so that we can learn from the Lord Himself? This is the way of the Lord. God is looking for a Gideon’s army of those that are willing to trust fully in His power and not in any might or power of their own. God uses nobodies that will trust Him implicitly and fully. Are you going to be part of this Gideon’s army today?

How Do You Get Free From the Power of Sin? by Carter Conlon

Topic: Freedom
Description: God will give us the power to be free, but He doesn’t do it the way we think. God has thoughts about you and they are not the thoughts you have about yourself because God doesn’t see you the way you see yourself. God will bring you to a place you long to be in your heart, but only His strength can get you there.

How To Embrace The Power Of The Cross by Carter Conlon

Topic: Cross Of Christ
Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 1:17-31
Description: January 3, 2010 - The Cross is a way to supernatural strength and power. Through the Cross, the life of God is lived through us in the person of the Holy Spirit. The Cross is the power of God in Christ to overpower all the forces of darkness. Because of the Cross the impossible becomes possible. So how do we embrace the power of the Cross? The answer is simple. You can stare at the Cross in unbelief or you can put out your hand by faith and take the victory. We cannot have sin in our life and have the power of the Cross. You have to choose to walk out of sin and walk into the power of God!

I am the Lord that Healeth Thee by Carter Conlon

Topic: Healing
Description: January 4, 2009 - In 2009 God is calling His church to "go forward". We will not have an ability to go forward if we are not right with God. We have been called to be an extension to God's goodness to a dying world. If our central focus is to live for the betterment of others, then even the bitter things will become sweet to us. There is still a Lamb for every house. There is power, provision and protection in Christ. We must make haste and get right with God so we can be a testimony of His provision and power. In Christ everyday is a new beginning where the impossible becomes possible.
