Audio Sermons : ~ Christian Audio Books : C. H. Spurgeon :  Alas For Us, If Though Wert All, and Nought Beyond, O Earth

Alas For Us, If Though Wert All, and Nought Beyond, O Earth by C. H. Spurgeon

Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 15:19
Description: “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” — 1 Corinthians 15:19. We will try and handle our text this morning in this way. First, we are not of all men most miserable; but secondly, without the hope of another life we should be - that we are prepared to confess — because thirdly, our chief joy lies in the hope of a life to come; and thus, fourthly, the future influences the present; and so, in the last place, we may to-day judge what our future is to be.

Must hear..The reader is excellent and the topic of scripture is classic and rarly quoted.

What we call preaching is lamentable, Hear This Christians!
Edifying, Humbling, Encouraging, Due to the constraints that I have on time, my opportunity to read the various sermons of these men of God has been limited. This site has been such a blessing. As to this message, after so many years in the ministry, I am in awe of the command of scripture, and the anointing of these men. The Christian of this age is consuming at best Dog food, mere fodder fit for swine, as compared to preaching of these men of God. I must admit, I am humbled beyond expression, by what this message. What passes for preaching today in the popular TV arena, WOW I almost want to use an expletive to describe the quality of what saint call anointed preaching today, from the supposed men who claim to have revelation from God. What an utter lamentable situation the American Christian is in today. My God have mercy on us. I think 100s of thousands of saint, are deeply deceived.

This is a must!
