Who is worthy to comment on preaching of Vance Havner,I'm certainly not. I heard him speak at a bible conference some 30 years ago. He spoke slowly and with certainty. He chose his words carefully. He knew the Bible inside and out and he loved his Lord! When I listened just now it brought back afresh the memory of that conference. Vance Havner was serious , but also funny. Just as fast as he made you laugh,he'd drop a load of conviction on your heart. I remember hearing a radio broadcast of his message right after his wife had passed. His love for her was great.He is with her now in glory.His message lives on." If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,I will come in and eat with him and he with Me". Revelation 3:20(NIV)
