 2006 Heart-Cry - Prayer by Paul Washer

Topic: Prayer
Description: Paul talks about Jesus Christ and how he prayed. He had thousands of sick people waiting to be healed, but what did Jesus do? He prayed. He could have said, I have so much work to do I have no time to pray...Paul Washer points out that we should pray BECAUSE we have so much work to do and if we don't pray we'll never get it done.

 A Wake Up Call
This was an excellent message, I have listened to it 3 times. If Jesus needed & WANTED to spend so much time with the Father, how, much more important is it for us to spend time with the Father. He loves us so much, He sent Jesus to us to have communion with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit

 Our Need!!!
Lord Father forgive me for trusting in my own power. Forgive me for looking at others for example but not your son. Help me realize the importance of prayer and the need of comunication with You in my life. Amen.

 So sweet!
Can I say as E.M Bounds said it..."Christ knows nothing of a prayerless Christian."...let us follow our Masters example in prayer brothers and sisters! J.C. Ryle has some amazing points on prayer aswell, check out his text sermons here!

 Pray, pray, pray!
Very challenging. Very inspiring. If we Christians only prayed half as much as we talked, discussed, evangelised and 'worked' we would see such a change. May we be inspired by Paul Washer to follow in our Lord's footsteps and become people of prayer for His glory.

 Wonderful!
"What can our feeble arms do? Answer me! What can be done by God? Answer me! ....He can convert a nation in an hour." Paul talks about Jesus Christ and how he prayed. He had thousands of sick people waiting to be healed, but what did Jesus do? He prayed. He could have said, I have so much work to do I have no time to pray...Paul Washer points out that we should pray BECAUSE we have so much work to do and if we don't pray we'll never get it done. We have strength to do nothing. OH! How we need the power of the Holy Spirit. We must slip away to pray!
