Jonah #1: Introduction by Ed Miller

Scripture(s): Jonah 1¬Ė4
Description: Ed Miller gives a panoramic view of one of the most missionary minded books in the Bible—the book of Jonah. Brother Ed lays the groundwork for this 5-part series in which he expounds upon 3 general themes: 1) The crisis in Jonah’s heart, 2) a book of miracles, and 3) a book of the undeserved mercy of God. As usual, he draws a gold mine of truths in light of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ from the life of this prophet. (This series of messages was delivered on Labor day weekend 2001 in Bridgeville, Maryland)

Wonderful intro to what book of Jonah is all about!
Ed Miller is masterful is pulling such a volume of information about Jonah, the times, the Ninevites, etc. into a easily digestible way that launches into practical application and devotion. He really picked out a lot of details I have missed when I have read the book. He exposes wrong thinking about the life of Jonah in an instructional way without being abrasive or condescending. Great exposition!
