Missing God's Promises by Erlo Stegen

Topic: Promises
Scripture(s): Revelation 12:11, Jeremiah 29:11, 1 Timothy 6:9-10
Description: If you are asleep spiritually the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes will come to the fore and be very alive in you. If you're asleep spiritually even a service where God is at work doesn't touch you, and you go out the same way you entered. The doer of sin is a slave of sin (John 8:34). May God wake us up. May we hear this promise from Jeremiah properly for it's a great promise in the Bible. God's plans for us is a good future. Hell was not made for people but for the devil and his angels. But if you cling to your sin then you too will end there. There are those who say they will never confess their sin to a person but such are asleep spiritually.

(Daniel) Israel's Time of Trouble by David Guzik

Topic: Jacob's Trouble
Scripture(s): Daniel 12, Revelation 12:13-17
Description: The time known as 'Jacobs trouble' will be the worst persecution that has ever befallen the jewish people, which is saying a lot considering they have been the target of satanic persecution all along, and we know the reason for this is due to the fact that the jews are so wrapped up in God's eternal plan.In the midst of this time of persecution there will be a great opportunity to spread the gospel though. The prophecy laid out here will have it's fulfillment in the end times, it will be a period of 3 and a half years and will be so intense that it will cause the people of Israel to cry out to their Messiah and He will return and defend them from the last onslaught. Interestingly Pastor Guzik says that 'running to and fro and knowledge shall increase' speaks of the huge explosion in understanding of Biblical prophecy that has occured in the past 100 years.

Topic:
Scripture(s): Revelation 12:17, 2 Corinthians 2:11, 1 Kings 22:31
Description: There is great attack against those on the "front lines" in ministry. The devil is aiming all of his amunition toward those who "love God and are the called according to His purpose." This is a message about the war with the principalities, a war that true Christian’s fight each and every day. This spiritual war was declared in the Garden of Eden but in these last days Satan is changing his plans. Time is near and Satan knows that his time is short. Since the cross, Satan has approached this spiritual warfare in a different way for those that are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

(Revelation - Part 2): A Prognosis of Events by A.W. Tozer

Topic: Book Of Revelation
Scripture(s): Revelation 14:1-3, Revelation 14:12
Description: Without prophecy, modern Christianity would be in pretty bad shape; Revelation is the disclosing of that which could not otherwise be known; How curiosity comes near to blasphemy; No secret key to understanding the Scriptures; Merely knowing the Scriptures profits us nothing; Many things God has given us as blessings have been turned into curses; Knowing the meaning of the symbols in Revelation will not make us any better off; When the Lord will come is of less importance than whether we are prepared when He does.

A Voice From Heaven by C. H. Spurgeon

Topic:
Scripture(s): Revelation 14:12,13
Description: DELIVERED BY C. H. SPURGEON, AT THE METROPOLITAN TABERNACLE, NEWINGTON. “Here is the patience of the salute: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.” — Revelation 14:12, 13. THE text speaks of a voice from heaven which said, “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.” The witness of that voice is not needed upon every occasion, for even the commonest observer is compelled to feel concerning many of the righteous that their deaths are blessed. Balaam, with all his moral shortsightedness, could say, “Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his.” That is the case when death comes in peaceful fashion. The man has lived a calm, godly, consistent life; he has lived as long as he could well have wished to live, and in dying he sees his children and his children's children gathered around his bed. What a fine picture the old man makes, as he sits up with that snowy head supported by snowy pillows. Hear him as he tells his children that goodness and mercy have followed him all the days of his life, and now he is going to dwell in the house of the Lord for ever...

What and Where Is Heaven by J. Vernon McGee

Topic:
Scripture(s): John 14, Revelation 21
Description: McGee begins his message by reminding us that the Bible says little about heaven. However, he does not leave us disappointed! He extracts teachings from John 14 and Revelation 21 in such a way that a longing for heaven is stirred within us. He begins by describing characteristics of heaven that are of lesser interest and progresses towards the most exciting aspect of our hope: “Behold, I make all things new.”
