K-048 One Thing You Lack by Art Katz

Topic: Call Of God
Scripture(s): Mark 10
Description: Katz here expounds upon and builds his message upon the story of the rich man's confrontation with Jesus. "Alot of us are in a much lesser place with God, because we have not understood the totality, the radical demand, the utterness of the whole commitment to God that constitutes entry into the kingdom and also entry into life". Have you yet come to the totality that is intrinsic to the call of God? After listening to this sermon, the answer will no longer elude you.

The Eye of the Needle by Carter Conlon

Topic: Hope
Scripture(s): Mark 10:17-25
Description: November 4, 2007 - Jesus offers us not just a future hope but a present reality. Some of us have a present trust while we seek a future hope. God calls us to give up our present trust and walk with Him. What are you trusting in that keeps you locked out of the power of God's Kingdom? God's Kingdom is a NOW Kingdom and He beckons us to leave behind what we once trusted in, let go of all our baggage, and slip through the eye of the needle! It's the person who realizes he has nothing to offer God but a willing heart that slips through the Eye of the Needle. The issue is letting go and trusting God.

Awakening from the Sleep of Sorrow by Carter Conlon

Topic: Sorrow
Scripture(s): Luke 22:39-46, Mark 14:40, John 16:5-6
Description: November 1, 2009 - Many of us who are on a journey with the Lord come into the Kingdom with our own ideas about how He should manifest His life through us. In the coming days many will experience intense sorrow as our image of God and our own image of how we think Christ should be glorified through us will suddenly be taken away from us. Things that we thought we were going to be in Christ and things that we thought God was obligated to do through us will suddenly be shaken. God in His mercy will shake everything that can be shaken so we can gain a right perspective of who He is and who we are in Christ! God will shake it all until all worldly security is gone and there is nothing left in His church but Christ Himself!

Seeing Through the Hands of Jesus by Carter Conlon

Topic: Compassion Of Christ
Scripture(s): Mark 8:22-26, Psalm 38:10
Description: November 18, 2007 - When we intermingle with the ways of the world, we lose sight of God's ways. We are not called to have the earth bless us, we are called to bless the earth. Our cry has to be "Jesus, touch us and cause us to see what you see and feel what you feel! Lord, cause us to have something deeper than sporadic bursts of kindness." Our eyes should be opened to the compassion of Christ and our hands should be committed to make a difference in society. When we move out in this direction, there is a divine power imputed to us for the work of the Lord.

GREATER THAN EVERY SUFFERING by Basilea Schlink

Topic: Radio Show
Scripture(s): Mark 14:36
Description: God lives and works today! Is there anyone who doesn’t have a sorrow in his life, who has never known suffering? Ever since Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden, mankind has had to live with sorrow and suffering. That is why there is no question as vital as: How can I overcome my suffering? How can I make it lose its crippling power in my life? This meditation will tell us about a power that is greater than every suffering.
