Balance Of Truth - 3 by Zac Poonen

Topic: Balance
Scripture(s): 1 Timothy 3:5, Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18

Brother Zac encourages seeking to build fellowship with radical, wholehearted disciples while being available to serve others. What about the right emphasis on evangelism and discipleship making? Gain practical insight in these areas that often trip people up in their Christian walk!

 God´s provision by Erlo Stegen

Topic: Provision
Scripture(s): Mark 16:15
Description: God answers prayer, and when we are in need, we can go to Him with our need. Mr Moses Khoza also gave His testimony of how he had strayed from God, but God has shown him grace, granted him forgiveness of sin and even touched him physically. Before he came to KwaSizabantu he was in hospital and had a terrible experience. The people in his ward were very sick. One night he went to fetch himself some water to drink. When he came back to his bed, one of the patients begged him for some water. When he had fetched the water, the man didn't want to drink it, but asked mr Khoza to pour it onto his neck and chest, for he felt like he was burning. After that the next patient had the same request and then the next. It carried on for quite a while. The next morning two of the patients had passed away. God spoke to him through the incident, and he came to KwaSizabantu and met with the Lord afresh.

John and Herod by C. H. Spurgeon

Topic:
Scripture(s): Mark 6:20
Description: JOHN sought no honor among men. It was his delight to say concerning our Lord Jesus, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Yet, though John sought no honor of men, he had honor; for it is written, “Herod feared John.” Herod was a great monarch, John was but a poor preacher whose garment and diet were of the coarsest kind; but “Herod feared John.” John was more royal than royal Herod. His character made him the true king, and the nominal king trembled before him. A man is not to be estimated according to his rank, but according to his character. The peerage which God recognises is arranged according to a man's justice and holiness. He is first before God and holy angels who is first in obedience; and he reigns and is made a king and a priest whom God hath sanctified and clothed with the fair white linen of a holy life. Be not covetous of worldly honors, for you will have honor enough even from wicked men if your lives are “holiness unto the Lord.” Let it be written on John's tomb, if he needs an epitaph, “Herod feared John.” Only there is one better testimonial which any minister of the gospel might be glad to receive, and it is this: “John did no miracle, but all things which he spake concerning this man were true.”

An Open Invitation to the Quiet Season by Wayne Hancock

Topic: Quiet Season
Scripture(s): Mark 1:1-11
Description: Pastor Wayne talks on the need in our busy culture to set aside time to meet with God in quiet. This requires discipline as he states and we need to practice this in our daily lives. This requires trust that God will meet you with that time of waiting that you sacrifice to do. Prayer is not only speaking to God but listening to God.

72 Baptism of the Holy Spirit (brother Denny) by Principles For The Gathering of Believers

Topic: Audio Books
Scripture(s): Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16
Description: In our day, the importance of experiencing the true Spirit Baptism is paramount. Because of satanic counterfeits, the true body of Christ has been alarmed and made hesitant to call out to the Lord for a fresh infusion of God’s Spirit in a public meeting or private prayer time. We believe that as believers gather it is essential to pray for endowments of the Holy Spirit. If the presence of God is not with the Church, She will never further the purpose of God in the earth.
