Dedicated to God Not Man by Major Ian Thomas

Topic: Dedication
Scripture(s): Acts 7:20, Exodus 2:11-3:1
Description: An excellent use of Moses as an example of what God can do through man. Maj. Thomas shows us that Moses was highly qualified to be completely useless. Moses looked “this way and that way”… but not up. Makes one completely examine themselves and ask the question, “Who are we really dedicated to?

The Cost of Going All The Way With God by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): Acts 7:25
Description: This sermon and 'Winning Christ' became chapters in the book 'Hungry for more of Jesus.' It is a challenging sermon to give your all to Christ. Many take the message of the free grace of God and count everything as costless when it comes to Christianity. However, there is a cost that comes to the person that decides that they are going all of the way with God. One of the best ways to lose friends and family members is to turn to God with all of your heart, soul and mind.

Becoming a House For God by Robert B. Thompson

Topic:
Scripture(s): John 14:1-6, Isaiah 66:1, Acts 7:44-50, Ephesians 2:22-23
Description: Dr. Thompson touches on the difference between “going to Heaven” versus “going to The Father.” He addresses the problems with the King James word “mansion” in our understanding of what God is doing. He discusses in depth John 14:3. The “house” referred to in the phrase “In My Father’s House…” is not Heaven, but Jesus Himself – Jesus is the house of God. Not that Heaven does not exist, but it is not the goal. Jesus is the Father’s house, and He makes a place in Himself for us, so that we become a room in that house. This sermon is practical, and it will stretch your brain a bit. (49 minutes 36 seconds)

11 Principle 7 - The People of God Are the Church by Principles For The Gathering of Believers

Topic: Audio Books
Scripture(s): Exodus 36, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Acts 7:48-51
Description: Considering Church history and the moving of God’s Spirit in many groups that stood for the truth, a house Church or small gathering of believers is not so radical. Rather, gathering in this way is a preferred Biblical approach, especially when the Church is under persecution. If it was important to have specific church buildings to represent God and spread the Gospel, would God not have commanded them in Scripture? Although we find detailed instructions for the tabernacle in the Old Testament122 we find quite a different emphasis in the New Testament.123 We see this truth prophetically spoken by Stephen just before he was martyred: “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: ‘Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? Says the Lord. Or where will My resting place be? Has not My hand made all these things?’ You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!”

(Pdf Book) Stepping into the Breach by Basilea Schlink

Topic: Ebooks
Scripture(s): Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21
Description: Although this arch-enemy, Satan, is attacking our neighbor, or even has him in his hand, we don’t use the weapon of prayer–we don’t step into the breach. Satan doesn’t want us to take his might seri- ously. That is his greatest trick, for then we don’t op- pose him and he can take control of our neighbor, or us, with complete ease. But Jesus has come “... to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). And so we must use the victorious name of Jesus in prayer, according to the verse, “All who call upon the name of the LORD shall be delivered” (Joel 2:32 and Acts 2:21).
