Prepare to Die by Aaron Hurst

Topic: Death
Scripture(s): Hebrews 9:27,2 Kings 20:1
Description: Pastor Aaron Hurst reminds us that all people must die a physical death. But are we prepared to live the spiritual life afterward, or will we die a second time (the spiritual death of the unredeemed and the wicked). When Isaiah told King Hezikaiah that he must die soon and to get his "house" in order, the prophet was speaking to all of us. Death can come suddenly and unexpectedly. Are we prepared to meet God at any moment?

Religiosity or Spirituality #1 - Hungering for More of God by Zac Poonen

Topic:
Scripture(s): 2 Kings 2, Luke 24:28-29, Galatians 3:13-14
Description: Zac Poonen found that so many Christians are living a substandard life, but it doesn't have to be this way. Brother Zac stirs you to go beyond being satisfied with so little, when God has promised rivers of living water to flow out of you to be a blessing to everyone you meet. "If you're satisfied with something less than God's highest, then that's all you'll have."

Miracles Of Elisha, Message 2 by Ed Miller

Topic:
Scripture(s): 2 Kings 2,3
Description: Ed Miller illustrates from Elisha's first four miracles what ministry we can expect when we lay hold of God: 1) a miracle walk, 2) being used to bless barren people, 3) bringing judgment to those whose hearts are closed to God, and 4) bringing words of deliverance to those who have messed up. Brother Ed also brings by way of contrast the Elishas--a remnant just wanting the Lord--with the "sons of the prophets", a larger segment of believers who fall on the legalistic side.

(Through The Bible) 2 Kings 1-4 by Chuck Smith

Topic:
Scripture(s): 2 Kings 1-4
Description: Jezebel introduced the children of Israel into Baal worship, so Israel was in the state of an spiritual apostasy. God is able to create and do visible and obvious miracles; God did not just attribute miracles to the apostolic period of time. The stories and miracles of Elijah are an inspiration and truly should test our faith. If we do not have the gift of miracles we have been led in an more excellent way in the teaching of the Word of God and in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Where is the God of Elijah? He is still the same and has not changed. But our way of living has definitely changed and we need to come to the place because the question that needs to be asked where are the Elijah’s of God? Modern society and all of its convineces hinder the ability to know and meditate on God how Elijah did.
