 Genuine Conversion by Paul Washer

Topic: Genuine Conversion
Scripture(s): 2 Corinthians 13:5, 1 John 5:13
Description: The name of God is blasphemed among unbelievers because of the ungodly lives of those who claim to be believers but are not. Given the Apostle Paul’s command to believers to test themselves, Mr Washer uses Biblical truth to destroy the concept of the ‘Carnal Christian’ and to expose the wickedness of modern evangelical methods. Men are not saved by repeating a prayer, he says; they are saved by repenting of their sin and believing the Gospel. (41 minutes)

Biblical Assurance (Part 1) by Paul Washer

Topic: Assurance
Scripture(s): 2 Corinthians 13:5, 1 John 5:13
Description: After introductory comments to the local assembly, Paul Washer begins this series of messages with the Apostle’s exhortation, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith”. How can you be truly assured that you have believed unto salvation? he asks. How do you know you are saved? The only way, is to examine your life in the light of what the Bible reveals about genuine faith, he asserts; and the best place to get a Biblical assurance instead of an emotional one is 1st John. Scripture(s): Matthew 4: 8-11, 1 John 2:16-17

As He Is So Are We by Vance Havner

Topic: Living Like Christ
Scripture(s): 1 John 4:17
Description: Speaking on our standing with Christ, "the Eternal Contemporary", Vance Havner shows how our lives should be reflections of the life that Christ lived, and is still living today. A good sermon that gives no room for feel-good, prosperity religion. "Everybody wants medals today, but nobody wants scars." Well worth the listen.

(Godly Home) Part 9 - The Key to Obedience is Blessings by Denny Kenaston

Topic: Godly Home Series
Scripture(s): 1 John 4:19; Malachi 4:6
Description: This teaching has "the most profound wisdom" in all child training--love. Brother Denny uncovers the fallacy that spanking solves all the woes in the family when a close, loving, flowing relationship between parent and child is missing. Our modern society is all about the quick fix, but there is no substitute for time when it comes to developing a genuine foundation of love in the godly home.

(The Mission and Ministry of the Holy Spirit) The Holy Spirit and the Antichrist by David Wilkerson

Topic: Antichrist
Scripture(s): 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12,1 John 4:2-3
Description: Christians need to be aware that they have an adversary and he is determined to corrupt the Bride of Christ in any way he possibly can. He's after the Bride, not because he wants her for himself, but because he would deny Christ his spotless Bride. The sin that floods this world out of the mouth of the enemy is an attempt to corrupt the Bride, to steal her heart away from Christ, and his truth, and defile that which belongs to Jesus.

Topic: Exclusivity
Scripture(s): 1 John 4:1-10

Scripture(s): Matthew 24, 1 John 4:3

Antichrist Armageddon Mark of the Beast by David Wilkerson

Topic: Mark Of The Beast
Scripture(s): 1 John 2:18; Hosea 2:6-17; Isaiah 35:1-10
Description: Too many are worried about prophecy of future end time events but we need to be more concerned about the armageddon in our own hearts. Topic: Audio Books
Scripture(s): 1 John 2:18, Acts 6:7, 2 Peter 3:9
Description: For readers to understand the environment Christians face in Iran it is necessary to give a brief summary of the Iranian and Islamic global agenda. Iran is a totalitarian government, a dictatorship, which exercises suppression, persecution and, at times, the death penalty for those of other faiths. The Islamic Republic and its leaders, operate under a great desire for Islamic world dominion with a religious fervor that does not permit faiths other than Islam.

Learning How to Love the Lord by David Wilkerson

Topic:
Scripture(s): John 14:15,1 John 5:3
Description: Loving Jesus is not something we say, but it is something we do. Jesus says "If you love me, keep my commandments." They are not grievous. He empowers us by the Holy Ghost to be able to keep his word when we are willing to surrender our heart to his Lordship. A stirring word that will cause every sincere believer to examine his or her own heart. John 14:15 says if you love me you will keep my commandments.  This is just the first of many other scriptures Brother Wilkerson uses to demonstrate the reality of what it means to love the Lord our God. It goes beyond feelings and sentiment. It involves more than your words. The Lord is looking for hearts that honestly reach out for him and has a desire to be obedient to his word.

Faith, love and obedience by Erlo Stegen

Topic: Obedience
Scripture(s): 1 John 5:1-3
Description: What is believing? James tells us that the demons also believe in God, but they tremble and shake. James continue to say that unless you continue to show by your life that you have the true faith, your faith is worthless. Faith is directional in a Person. Faith not only requires that something is held true, but that Someone has entered into your life. Grasp this secret or you've missed the crux of the matter. Faith is not believing a set of historical facts. All the historical facts about Jesus, that He was the perfect spotless Lamb of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day - all of this the demons know to be true, but it doesn't help them. You need a special agreement with Jesus Christ, and then confess that commitment before people publicly. You must believe with the heart unto righteousness and confess with your mouth unto salvation (Rom 10:10).
