FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How Do you download the audio sermons?
Answer. To download the audio sermons to your desktop simply right click on the sermon titles and choose save target as. A dialogue box will open and rename the sermon file to the title of the sermon and the speaker adding the .mp3 extension on the end of the file. If a .php shows up as the download file simply rename it to .mp3 (or the video extension wmv, mp4, etc) and it will work.

Q. The sermons dont download fully and are cut off?
Answer. If when downloading sermons they seem to be cut off and not fully downloaded we recommend you use a file download manager to ensure the full download of the materials. We have found this download manager to work best: freedownloadmanager.org.

Q. Are materials on sermonindex copyrighted?
Answer. We have endeavored to include only audio material that was given in public settings and should therefore be free from copyright considerations. If you have a copyright concern or feel that you are the owner of some of the material that is presented on this website, please contact us.

Q. Can I download, distribute and burn sermons to CDs?
Answer. All materials on sermonindex can be freely copied and used for the glory of God but may not be bought or sold.

Q. Some speakers on sermonindex vary in their doctrinal stance?
Answer. Because of the nature of this website and the amount of material available here, the views are those of the original speaker or author. Because of the diversity of viewpoints on some issues, there probably isnt a single individual anywhere who would subscribe to all of the views on all of the topics presented here, and we dont either. However, the material is still valuable and worth study. Someone has compared listening to an abundance of preachers to catchng and eating fish. If one eats a lot of fish, one must pick out a bone now and then, but the fish is still good.

Q. Is there more information about sermonindex and its history?
Answer. You can view a simple page outlined some of the history of sermonindex and its main goals and mission statement here: About SermonIndex.

Q. How can I submit my sermons or obtain hosting for my sermons?
Answer. SermonIndex does not host sermons for churches or ministries as a service. All materials have been hand chosen and selected to be hosted for free. You are welcome to submit and mail sermons in but over 95% of the materials submitted are not accepted for addition to sermonindex. The chief goal is to add older vintage audio sermons from the past century.

Q. How can I contact sermonindex directly?
Answer. Phone Number: 1-888-224-6123 to leave a voicemail message. Mailing Address: P.O. Box 584, Regina, SK, Canada, S4P 3A3. Email Address: sermonindex@gmail.com.

Q. How can I support this ministry?
Answer. Prayer support and covering is the most important aspect of support for this ministry. SermonIndex is primarly supported by users such as yourself. There is a aim to allow sermonindex to run with as little overhead as possible but still having a impact for Christ. Support is used to run the website including the hardware costs and bandwidth costs. Also, Greg Gordon currently updates and moderates the site full-time. SermonIndex.net has parterned with the ministry of the Canadian Revival Fellowship for financial accountability and tax-deductible status. Currently you can donate online or through mail here: Donations.

Q. What Missions Organisations Does SermonIndex Support?
Answer. SermonIndex supports these 4 missions organisations through driving visitors from the SermonIndex website to their organisations. It is recommended that you prayerfully considering supporting these organisations: Gospel For Asia, Heart Cry Missionary Society, Orphans Tear, ChildCry.
