"But without faith, it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hebrews 10:36, 37
We come to God only through Jesus Christ, "No man cometh unto the Father but by Me." And our Lord Jesus Christ is the Judge (John 5:22). "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son." He pronounces the sentence. He gives the reward (Rev. 22:12). "And, behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me." What we do we must do in His name and for His glory (Col. 3:24) "Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ." We must live for Him and be willing to die for Him. Our reward awaits us.
Lord, we commit ourselves to Thee. Use us this day for Thy glory. Amen. |
