Matt 21:1-5

Mrs Nsibande, affectionately known as mama Nsibande, was one of the few who sought revival in 1966 together with Erlo Stegen, when the Lord poured out His Spirit on them at Maphumulo.

On Tuesday, 22 June 2004, as she was preparing to go to the doctor, the Lord took her home.

Since her youth she lived an exemplary life. As a young girl she was chased from home because she refused to flirt and have relationships with boys. Ironically, when she got married later in life, as a virgin, her family wanted a big lobola price, as she was pure.

She was a "man" amongst men, and a heroine amongst heroes. Her life was a true expression of Prov 31:28-29 and Psalm 42, as she sought to have a close walk with her Lord all the days of her life. In so doing she was a blessing to many as she helped them and pointed them to her Saviour.

Jesus sent his disciples to fetch a donkey for Him to ride on when He entered Jerusalem. He even told his disciples what to say when questioned about the donkey. When he spoke, all other mouths were shut. He spoke with authority.

He didn't arrive in pomp and splendour as worldly kings do, but entered in simplicity, even though He was the Son of God, the Creator of heaven and earth.

When we were in South Korea, we heard of one of the preachers in leadership in the biggest church in that country. He had a godless son that was a drug-addict and drunkard, and in so doing he dragged his father's name and the Gospel through the mud. His evil ways grieved his father so much, that one day he called his son, gave him a knife and asked his son to kill him. He explained to his son that that was what he had been doing through his lifestyle. His son was shocked and deeply touched. A week later he gave his life over to the Lord Jesus and repented from his evil ways.
